In the fall of 2008 the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department installed a 28 KW photovoltaic system. The system is comprised of 130 Sharp 216 watt modules, a 30 KW SatCon inverter, and a UniRac racking system. Every year the system will produce approximently 30,783 kWh of electricity.* Over the estimated 35 year lifespan of the system, the energy produced will offset over 808 tons of CO2, 83,491 gallons of gasoline, or over 6 acres of forest preserved from deforestation.
