DECK MONITORING
DECK Monitoring is a Solar Energy monitoring company based out of Eugene Oregon. The DECK monitoring platform is reliable, scalable, and feature rich. The DECK platform comes standard with all available features, including a management portal for contractors, flash views, kiosk capability, and a standard 10 year monitoring contract.
In December, 2008 DECK Monitoring in partnership with Advanced Energy Systems activated a 11 KW Solar Electric System. The system utilizes (48) high efficiency Sharp 224 watt modules. The modules are mounted on a custom Uni Rac ULA ground rack system. The power from the modules is routed through (2) SMA 5000 watt inverters to a PV combiner panel. Power is routed from the combiner panel to either the grid or a battery bank via (2) SMA Sunny Islands. The net metering agreement with EWEB (Eugene Water and Electric Board) credits DECK Monitoring when production is in excess of usage. The PV System has substantial environmental impacts. Over its lifetime the system will save/offset an equivalent amount of energy as 310 tons of CO2, 32,800 gallons of gasoline, or 900 trees.
