CITY OF Ashland
In June of 2008 the city of Ashland installed a 63.5 KW PV System, pioneering a unique financial model which created a co-operative solar electric system whose production is shared by the citizens of the city. Residents of Ashland are empowered to purchase solar panels individually in order to offset their electric use. This system is comprised of 363 SolarWorld 175 Watt modules, conencted to a Solectria inverter.
