02/06/2012 - Eugene, OregonFull Access, a local Eugene, Non-Profit organization is awaiting final inspections this week, and will commission their new 11kW Solar Facility soon. As a winner of the Eugene Water and Electric Board (EWEB) Greenpower Grant in the fall of 2011, Full Access worked with Advanced Energy Systems, a Solar Contractor in Eugene Oregon to design and install the solar project. PV and Electric Vehicle Charging project was finished last week, as Mike Brown, our certified EV specialist provided training to the staff of Cafe' Yumm! on the usage and operation of their new charging stations. The Shaggy Dog PV Project
The Shaggy Dog boarding facility located in Dallas, Oregon is now producing electricity with their 13.16 kW solar electric system. Designed and installed by Advanced Energy Systems, the 56 SolarWorld 235 watt modules will reduce the companies electricity bill, and save on greenhouse gasses. Funding for the project came from the facility owner, and from a utility incentive administered by the Energy Trust of Oregon. There were no state business tax credits funding the project. Oregon Solar Highway Construction in High Gear
As of October 20th, the Oregon Solar Highway project was in high gear. Favorable weather has allowed the post installation to move at a rapid pace. Racking assembly has begun as the preliminary electrical infrastructure is back filled. The image below shows the state of construction on October 18th, 2011.
