Albany Helping Hands goes Solar

The Albany Helping Hands Shelter has gone solar. Advanced Energy Systems is putting the finishing touches on a 12.8 kW solar system located on the roof of this shelter called Albany Helping Hands. This system of SunPower modules on an integrated ballasted racking is funded by community block grants and will help offset the facilities energy usage, allowing for more funding to be committed to helping those that need the help most. As the winner in the competitive bid process, AES will design and install the system.
